My father Don Wilson began his pest control career working for Ace Exterminating. After passing his state exams he became a partner. Dad left Ace and started Aardvark Pest Control Company in August 1975. He valued his customers. Providing the best in professional pest control services. Aardvark quickly grew and by 1980 Aardvark had 4 employees.
In 1988 I left Aardvark to help Mickey Nolen run Nozzle Nolen Pest Control. While there, Nozzle Nolen became the predominate pest control provider in South East Florida. In 1988, I became certified in all fields of pest control.
My Mentor, Professor Doug Palmer asked me if I would be interested in teaching. I began my teaching career in 1990. Helping Professor Palmer with his Pest Control Tutoring School. The school was set up to help candidates past their state board exams.
I left Nozzle Nolen in 1993 to return to Aardvark Pest Control Company. By 1998 we had 10 employees. Today, I’ve down sized Aardvark to 3 employees. Emphasizing high quality – technical pest solutions.
I restarted my teaching in 2000. Today, I’m a certified continuing education provider. Providing the continuing education hours certified pest control operators need each year.
My experience of being an elected official from 1993 thru 2000 gave me the experience to serve as Legislative Advocate for the Certified Pest Control Operators of Florida. The nation’s largest pest control association. This position I hold to this day.
